Canadian Foresight Network: Summer Signals Series [Pilot July 16th 12pm EDT]

To participate, bring one signal of change: a headline, statistic, technology use case, policy shift, local observation, cultural moment, weak signal, or question that may point to something shifting. This is your entry ticket.

Together, we will share signals, identify emerging patterns, discuss what they may mean for Canada or the world, and explore future questions worth tracking.

After the session, we will synthesize the contributions into a short Summer Signals Digest, capturing selected signals, emerging themes, future questions, and areas to keep watching.

This is a participatory working session for people interested in foresight, futures literacy, strategy, systems change, and emerging issues.

Flow of the event:

1. Welcome & Housekeeping

2. Signal share (max 2 min to present per person) + discussion time

3. 1:1 Connection round – break into groups to meet each other

4. Open mic – Share Projects or collabs (if you are looking for inputs or people to collaborate with)

5. Closing notes
